A goal without a plan is just a wish.
But not every plan takes you to your goal....... so be careful what you wish for!
So this time I decided that no matter what; I was going to try to see a whale shark. Even if it goes against my principles (them being fed to stay close) , it was amazing!
Even more so when ,after snorkling, I saw 3 boats with tourists trying to call him but he didnot show up again. So it does mean he is free even if they taught him to come when they bang the boats .
I had tried to keep a distance but he came up and bumped me ,ever so softly, 3 times.
They are amazing creatures, so big and so gentle. It is a privilege to be able to get so close. The privilege costs money but for once I am not complaining. After being around him for an hour, the guide agreed to go snorkling a bitt to the left. I felt reassured by the man’s presence as shadows still make me "jump". The underwater world is such an amazing place, why do we need to discover other planets when we live on the best one. Ofcourse it hurts to see that we don't look after her and even if we do our best not to pollute, the big industries wil just keep going with the help of our goverments until her destruction. I am just glad I have seen somuch already. I have protested against so many things since I was eight, by the age of forty eight I gave up and decided to enjoy as much as possible but not to harm .
This was on my list and I am happy I got to see and do somuch on this trip . The shark encounter being the highlight(but not on any list) but today comes very close.
I wonder how other people cope with their lists. It took me many years before realising that if it is my dream then I should give it everything. Money and all..... How easy we get everything but to make a dream come true costs... energy, stamina and money. But it's worth it, even if in the end it is not what we hoped for. Atleas we can sit in that rocking chair and say: I tried.
Problem with my list; it doesn't get smaller. There are so many things to do and see on this planet of ours. Material things just don't seem so important to me.
On this trip I just got so many "presents" on the way. Just to mention a few: Budapest, Bursa, Erzurum, Kyrgyzstan.... if you would like to know more about how I got there and what I did, please subscribe. My newsletter will cost 4 euros monthly. This money will help me keep going. It will make a
big difference for me. As I am supporting myself up till now.
Send me a message, it makes you as my reader a bit more personal as "just a click ". Thanks .
